Harrisburg, PA (PRWEB) February 21, 2012

MARCO Promotional Products is one of the leading companies that has provided exclusive merchandise and promotional items for over 47 years. To enhance their services and product offerings, they also support the ‘Go Green’ initiative and extend themselves for the well being of the environment and future generations.

With over 15,000 customers and counting, MARCO is known for providing ideal brand identification solutions in the form of customized promotional items. With a combination of high quality, pocket friendly rates and impeccable delivery times, they have gained the popularity and the goodwill in the industry as well as with their customers. Plus, with an added feature of eco-friendliness for these products, more and more people are opting for promotional products from MARCO. Their items are divided into four main types based on their compatibility with nature.

Organic Cotton

MARCO products are available in 100 percent organic cotton, which means that the materials used for manufacturing these items are supportive of the environment. Organic cotton crops are not genetically modified and, in the farming process, no synthetic chemicals like pesticides or fertilizers are used. MARCO has the following products in this range:

Promotional T-Shirts: Comfortable and cozy, organic cotton promotional t-shirts are available in different sizes and color. They can be styled and printed as per the customer’s requirements.

Promotional Bags: One of the most popular products of MARCO, promotional bags are available in organic cotton too. These tote bags are sturdy and ideal for corporate merchandise as well as for giving away as personalized gifts.

Recycled Fabrics

Along with organic cotton products, MARCO houses eco-friendly promotional items that are made from recyclable materials. Items like water bottles, yogurt containers, milk cartons, and more are stripped of their labels and then crushed. This smashed pulp is then turned into pellets that help create yarns of PET fibers. These fibers are knit or woven into fabrics and other materials to create durable and good quality promotional products. A few of the goods in this category are:

Recycled Pens: Using pens for promotional purposes is one of the oldest and most popular tricks. Made from things such as recycled currency, tires and denim, recycled pens from MARCO, are ideal for any corporate that wishes to reduce its carbon footprints.

Recycled Lanyards: Recycled lanyards create a good impression of the employees of an organization, as well as act as a great way to promote the business. Created from green materials, these lanyards are durable and can be customized.

Recycled Bottles and Sippers: These plastic sippers look just like regular drinkware products, but are created from recycled waste. The waste-to-wow concept will work in the favor of any company wanting to attract more customers.

Corn Plastics

Made from PLA, or polylactide/polylactic acid, Corn Plastic looks and feels just like regular plastic, but the products created from them are 100% biodegradable and compostable. Since it is a renewable source, it helps reduce the stress on exhaustible resources like oil, used to create regular plastic. MARCO supports the green initiative and therefore has customized promotional items, like stationary and other accessories, made from corn plastic.

Stationary and Accessories: From custom stationary given out in schools, to large fashionable key holders for professionals, MARCO has corn plastic products for everyone. They are stylish, durable and are an ideal replacement for regular plastic items.

Enhanced Biodegradability

MARCO creates products that have high biodegradability. However, this does not mean that these products are fragile – the company ensures that all items, like promotional bags and recyclable lanyards, have the same shelf life as the regular products. Products like office accessories, creative promotional items, boxes, and much more fall into this category.

Office Accessories: Giving note-and-pen holders, staplers, and clips to the office audience will definitely attract more people. Adding the concept of enhanced biodegradability will only create space for more goodwill about your brand.

Creative Items: MARCO also houses different and creative promotional products, like first-aid kits, classic yo-yos for children, and more. All these items are biodegradable, but more importantly, they are safe and durable.

MARCO Promotional Products have a lot more in store for the nature lovers. Visit our website at http://www.MarcoPromotionalProducts for further information.

Ashland, Oregon (PRWEB) February 02, 2012

LuckyBloke.com the first website to offer an international assortment of premium condoms and personal lubricants via monthly subscription, and featuring global delivery, announced its official launch today.

“Sex is exciting. Walking into a store to buy condoms or lube is awkward, inconvenient, and for many, incredibly embarrassing, ” says Lucky Bloke CEO, Melissa White. “A Lucky Bloke condom subscription solves this with a slam dunk: it’s affordable, private, and convenient.”

In conventional retail stores, the condom and personal lubricant selection is often minimal and the differences between brands obscure. When shopping online, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Many sites force visitors to sort through risque pleasure-ware in shops featuring thousands of condom styles, yet lacking clear and concise size and quality guidance.

LuckyBloke.com has carefully researched and hand-selected a range of the best premium condom brands and styles from around the world – including Okamoto, Kimono, Glyde, Billy Boy, RFSU, Durex, and Trojan condoms. As new products arrive on the market, Lucky Bloke will add those that meet their quality expectations, and offer something unique to each category

Via an intuitive search and product filter system, the first of its kind, LuckyBloke.com customers can easily find and buy condoms and personal lubricants that meet their specific needs. The items chosen are discreetly delivered each month. Subscriptions are easy to modify, cancel, or place on hold.

A free Condom Concierge service is available via email, at getlucky(at)luckybloke(dot)com, to assist customers who have product questions.

Running out of condoms isn’t just awkward — it can result in serious consequences.

The Center for Disease Control stated in their most recent “Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance” report that “STDs are one of the most critical health challenges facing the nation today. The CDC estimates that there are 19 million new infections every year in the United States…Many are increasingly resistant to treatment.” Ongoing budget cuts in the public health sector have created gaps in contraceptive coverage.

Yesterday, Pfizer announced -via Press Release- a U.S. recall of one million packets of birth control pills as concerns mounted that a manufacturing error could raise the risk of unplanned pregnancies.

The net result is a greater risk of pregnancy and exposure to STDs, especially among college students – who generally can be more absent-minded or timid regarding purchasing condoms. Lucky Bloke provides a straight-forward solution: a convenient, reliable, and discreet way to explore, buy, and receive the condoms they need without ever leaving their dorms.

10% of Lucky Bloke’s sales go to to urgent humanitarian causes. Subscribers can choose which cause their share of sales supports. Current options include: charity: water, It Gets Better Project, and UNICEF.

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) February 17, 2012

Samueli Institute, a recognized leader in integrative medicine research, has released the results of a blinded, randomized controlled trial (RCT) that finds “biofield healing therapies” reduce fatigue and increase cortisol variability (a biological marker that has been linked to fatigue and depression) in breast cancer survivors. The full results of the study entitled, “Complementary Medicine for Fatigue and Cortisol Variability in Breast Cancer Survivors: A Randomized Controlled Trial,” was recently published in the February 1, 2012 issue of the journal Cancer, a peer-reviewed Interdisciplinary International Journal of the American Cancer Society. A link to the abstract for the study can be found on the publisher’s website (http://www.wiley.com).

Dr. Shamini Jain, Senior Scientist and Program Manager at Samueli Institute and Assistant Professor at University of California San Diego, was the Principal Investigator of the study. Funded by the National Institute of Health/National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine as well as Samueli Institute, the study was conducted at the University of California San Diego.

“Approximately one-third of cancer patients experience significant fatigue up to ten years or more after treatment,” said Dr. Jain. “Even worse, fatigue is often associated with additional problems such as depression and sleep disturbance, interfering with patients’ daily lives. Many times, these patients are too tired to even engage in basic self-care practices like exercise. Unfortunately, there are no gold-standard treatments for treating this persistent fatigue, which is why we wanted to investigate whether biofield healing could offer hope to fatigued cancer survivors as a non-invasive, complementary treatment.”

Biofield therapies, also often referred to as “hands-on-healing,” include techniques such as Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, and Healing Touch. These therapies are thought to work by affecting energy fields that surround and penetrate the human body. A previously published systematic review conducted by Dr. Jain and colleague Dr. Paul Mills of University of California San Diego suggested that biofield therapies are useful in reducing acute pain in a number of populations.

“The take-home message is that there is hope for reducing cancer-related fatigue for these survivors,” noted Dr. Jain. “These and other related therapies can be used as complementary care for cancer patients and survivors. If further larger-scale studies confirm these results, it suggests that these therapies may be very useful to integrate into standard care for cancer patients to reduce and possibly prevent these negative symptoms.”

Along with Dr. Jain, co-authors of the study include Dr. Paul Mills, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California San Diego; Dr. John Ives, Director, Brain, Mind and Healing Program at Samueli Institute; Dr. Ian Coulter, Samueli Institute Chair in Policy for Integrative Medicine at RAND Corporation; and Dr. Wayne Jonas, President and CEO, Samueli Institute.

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 15, 2012

At Social Media Week New York, San Francisco and London, Beyond, a digital agency that helps brands create content experiences that people share, today released the findings of a new study that indicates the drastic changes that lie ahead in the way consumers share content online. The study shows that sharing fatigue is a very real problem that brands looking to engage their customers online are going to have to combat.

By examining the sharing habits of 2000 active Facebook users, the study identifies six predictions for the Future of Sharing:

1. Consumers will demand easier and better ways of segmenting their friends

2. Frictionless (or auto) sharing is here to stay despite consumer concerns

3. People will share more brand content if they are rewarded for doing so

4. The rate of sharing, on a per-user basis, will plateau as more people become long-time users of social media

5. Sharing will expand to include transactions as well as life events and personal achievements to define a new action-oriented sharing culture

6. The personal motivations for sharing content will remain the same

The study revealed a significant sharing burnout effect. Over time, people login to Facebook more frequently but share less often after their first year with an account. While social network usage (amount of times logged in per week) grows continually on a per-user basis from 3 months – 2+ years, sharing peaks between 3-12 months and declines steadily afterwards. The study indicates that we are likely to see a sharing plateau, unless brands and social platforms can find a way to entice those passive users to become more active again.

As part of sharing burnout, 61% of people report feeling “annoyed” by applications that automatically post content, and the longer people have Facebook accounts the more likely that they are to be annoyed by applications that post automatically to their profiles.

The data also revealed that among active social media users, 67% of people have done at least one of the following things: allowed an application to post automatically to their profile, listened to a song that was automatically shared or automatically shared an article they read. This signals that – despite consumer frustration – the era of frictionless sharing is here to stay.

The study also looked at the type of content that people are likely to share. The findings show that people will expand their sharing to include transactions as well as life events and personal achievements. Personal milestones will be the biggest category of content people share with 43 percent of people saying they would share a personal milestone, while 30 percent would share planning a trip, 28 percent would share purchasing a ticket to an event, 27 percent would share a donation to a charity or getting a deal from a deal site and 23 percent would share a purchase from an online retailer such as Amazon.

Interestingly, if the consumer is offered a deal or discount to share content, for example to get a discount if they share an Amazon purchase with their friends, the number of people who would share increases from 23 percent to 60 percent.

“The blending of the offline and online world for consumers will drive the biggest change in how content is shared over the next few years,” said David Hargreaves, CEO, Beyond. “We are about to enter the next phase of the sharing economy driven by a combination of ‘autosharing’ from social apps and reward- or value-based sharing where brands have to be creative in the ways they engage and motivate their advocates to share their experiences online. If you’re a marketer, simply hoping your audience will share your content because you have a like button is dead.”

Separately, while only 40% of people have actively grouped their friends to selectively share content, the idea appeals to 62% of consumers. This could mean that Google+ and its approach with Circles is likely to become the norm.

Coos Bay, Oregon (PRWEB) February 13, 2012

Kustom™ Cooling, LLC., (KCP) the leading Total Thermal Management Solution company, announces the release of a 100% all aluminum Hydraulic Oil Cooler System. The KCP Hydraulic Oil Cooler System is the most complete, robust, lightweight oil cooler system available on the market today. The foundation of the system is a 30 or 60 GPM rated hydraulic oil cooler assembly in conjunction with a KCP Hydraulic Filtration and Distribution Manifold assembly. The KCP 60 GPM Hydraulic Oil Cooler System can be used to replace a chassis mounted reservoir system of up to 180 gallons, while providing many benefits over the traditional reservoir system. The first thing noticed is a drastic weight savings. The KCP 60 GPM Hydraulic Oil Cooler comes in at a mere 117 lbs compared to the 1,300 lbs of a 180 gallon reservoir system. Secondly, the KCP Hydraulic Oil Cooler maintains the hydraulic fluid at a consistent optimum temperature, which maximizes both the efficiency and life out of the hydraulic components. Also, the KCP Hydraulic Filtration and Distribution Manifold provides both supply and return filtration, which provides maximum protection of all the hydraulic components by ensuring clean oil is being provided to all components of the system.

The KCP Hydraulic Oil Cooler System is the only true “system” currently available. The KCP system does not simply start and stop with the heat exchanger and distribution manifold, although that is a great start. For the operator that operates the cooler in conditions that subject the heat exchanger to high amounts of dirt, dust, and airborne debris such as agricultural, forestry, mining and any other vocational applications, the KCP Thermal Management Controller is a great option. It utilizes fully patented fan control logic that provides for automated fan reversal to automatically reverse the airflow direction and purge debris from the cooling core. This option is ideal in any application where the heat exchanger is exposed to conditions that contribute to clogging and ultimately an inefficient cooling system. In addition to the reversal function, the KCP Controller can also be programmed to provide a pre-determined set point for fan turn on, as well as manage a reservoir heater to pre-heat the hydraulic oil in cold weather applications. Add the KCP plug and play universal wire harness and relieve any wiring headaches and simplify the installation. Another popular option is the KCP “quick mount” oil cooler brackets, which require no drilling to mount the oil cooler to the truck frame. The KCP Quick Mount Brackets simply clasp around the frame to secure the oil cooler in its desired location. The KCP Quick Mount Brackets are also available for mounting the KCP Hydraulic Filtration and Distribution Manifold as well.

The KCP Hydraulic Oil Cooler system has been successfully operating in poultry applications for the last two years. The proto-typing of those applications has gone so well that the KCP system has become the hydraulic oil cooler of choice on poultry feed trailers. The KCP Hydraulic Oil Cooler System is far superior to any other hydraulic oil cooler currently on the market.

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) February 10, 2012

Dr. Babak Azizzadeh, a facial plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, has many celebrity clients and helps them look their best for the Academy Awards. He is revealing which cosmetic procedures are the most popular among the Oscar nominees.

“Celebrities always look flawless, but on Oscar night they truly look their best. Whether they just need a little volume boost or a surgical lift, there are a variety of treatments I can perform to help them achieve their desired look,” said Dr. Azizzadeh.

According to Dr. Azizzadeh, celebrities who plan ahead may opt for surgical procedures like a neck lift or mini facelift to take years off of their appearance. These surgical procedures are great for actresses and actors who are starting to see the signs of aging – sagging and droopy on their face and neck.

The neck is often one of the first areas to give away a person’s age because the skin in this area becomes loose and can accumulate excess fat deposits. A neck lift will tighten the neck muscles, remove excess fat deposits, and smooth the skin, resulting in a more youthful neckline.

For those celebrities who need extra help, a mini facelift rejuvenates the lower third of the face, including the jowls and neck. Dr. Azizzadeh tailors mini facelifts to meet the needs of each patient, focusing primarily on their individual trouble spots.

Younger celebrities who do not need surgical help but still want to rejuvenate their appearance for the Oscars opt for injectable treatments like a liquid facelift or liquid brow lift.

By combining several injectables, such as Sculptra, Botox and Restylane, Dr. Azizzadeh is able to add volume and lift his famous patients’ faces without the hassle and downtime associated with a surgical facelift. This procedure is a great option for celebrities with minimal signs of aging, but who are starting to lose volume in their face and seeing an increase in fine lines and wrinkles.

Additionally, liquid brow lifts eliminate the need for surgical brow rejuvenation. Using a blunt tip cannula to precisely place fillers, Dr. Azizzadeh injects Sculptra in the temples and Restylane around the brows, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

“Regardless of the celebrity’s age, the goal of cosmetic treatments is always the same – achieving natural looking results. On a night as highly publicized as the Oscars, it is vital my celebrity clients merely look refreshed, and not like they have had a lot of work done,” said Dr. Azizzadeh.

Finally, to complete the red carpet look, celebrities come in for a chemical peel a week before the Academy Awards so their skin glows for the big night.

If you are interested in any of these cosmetic procedures set up a consultation with facial plastic surgeon to the stars, Dr. Babak Azizzadeh. Call 310.657.2203 today to schedule your appointment.

His expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery has made him one if the most sought-after surgeons in the country.

In addition, Dr. Azizzadeh is also highly skilled in non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments, including lasers, Ulthera, injectables, fat grafting, chemical peels and liquid facelifts. The show, which airs on the Wall Street Business Network on AM/FM radio, also streams live on http://www.georgejarkesy.com and affiliate station websites. The archive of the show is available on the website.

The interview took place shortly after the Obama administration passed regulation that mandates contraception coverage in employer health plans, with an exemption for religious institutions, but not religiously affiliated groups. The ruling has resulted in an uproar from Catholic groups, including letters read to parishioners at Mass over the past two weeks – a group that numbers “between 62 and 75 million” in the United States, according to Pacwa.

On the show, Father Pacwa argues that “the federal government is trying to make us violate our conscience, based on religious principles” by providing contraception to employees of religiously affiliated institutions, such as universities and hospitals. The ruling came despite “the principles that the Catholic Church has to not allow contraception or abortion,” he added.

For more information on Father Pacwa and The George Jarkesy Show, please visit the show’s website at http://www.georgejarkesy.com, or follow George on Twitter at @jarkesy. The George Jarkesy Show airs from 4-5 PM EST, Monday through Friday, and can be heard live on their website.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) February 07, 2012

Diet Doc HCG Diet and Weight Loss announces the opening of Diet Doc HCG Diet & Weight Loss to residents of Arizona.

Diet Doc provides a medical version of the HCG diet to those living in Arizona, including those looking for the HCG diet in Phoenix, Yuma, Flagstaff, Scottsdale, Sedona, or the entire state. Diet Doc is the only state-of-the-art weight loss organization providing the only modern-day version of the HCG diet in America reports Julie Wright, president of Diet Doc.

Diet Doc provides a modern-day version of the original 50 year old Dr. Simeons HCG Diet protocol that all other doctors are using. Doctors seem to resort to the 50 year old HCG diet, versus modernizing as Diet Doc did a few years ago. Doctors typically require additional training in weight loss in order to fully help the patient lose weight. The doctor must understand how each person’s medical condition, daily food intake, age, lifestyle, gender and preferences all play into weight loss. Many doctors simply do not have time for this additional training, nor do they have time to manage each person’s weight loss the way it needs to be done to get the weight off people, fast and safe. This is where Diet Doc leads the weight loss pack as we train doctors across the USA on our HCG diet as it’s the only HCG diet which is Dr. Oz approved. Diet Doc does not support a 500 calorie per day diet as all other doctors are offering. We have seen people lose hair, muscle (which leads to saggy skin), as well as experience extreme hunger and fatigue reports Wright.

Many doctors started offering the original 1950s Dr. Simeon’s HCG diet which promises dieters they will lose 1 pound per day if they consume 500 calories per day while taking injections of human chorionic gonadotropin (hcg), a human hormone made by chorionic cells in the fetal part of the placenta during pregnancy reports Julie Wright, president of Diet Doc HCG Diet & Weight Loss.

Diet Doc is the only modern-day version of the original 50 year old Dr. Simeon’s HCG Diet protocol that all other doctors are using. The reason doctors are using a 50 year old HCG diet, verses modernizing as Diet Doc did a few years ago, is true weight loss doctors require additional training in weight loss.

Diet Doc offers the modern day version of a 50 year old HCG diet and developed 4 other diet programs rolled into one that then personalizes the diet for every person to achieve an average of 1 pound of weight loss per day. Unsure which diet works best, with various fad diets, such as the NV diet pill, Beyond diet, Beyonce diet, Dotties weight loss, B12 weight loss… the list goes on and on. None of these types of diets are doctor supervised and none listed have medical research to support their weight loss claims.

Diet Doc HCG Diet and Weight Loss is passionate about helping people reduce their weight to avoid certain diseases and health conditions associated with being overweight. Diet Doc wants to keep their comprehensive, medically, supervised weight loss program affordable to many people, not just a select few. We often hear people comment that our pricing model is half of what other doctors are charging reports Wright. This is because our mission is to help people lose weight, train them on what specific foods will cause a weight loss reaction in their body. This is how they keep the weight off long term reports Wright. If we can do our best with each person, then we have gained the trust of many. This is how we make up for charging much lower than others states Wright.

Diet Doc provides medically, supervised patient care to people across the USA. A collaborative approach to dieting is employed, which is labor intensive, but effective reports Wright. Diet Doc works with physicians across the USA who are passionate about reducing obesity which is often the cause for many diseases and illnesses reports Wright.

*These weight reduction treatments include oral hCG or an injection of hCG–a drug, which has not been approved by the food and drug administration as safe and effective in the treatment of obesity or weight control. There is no substantial evidence that hCG increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or “normal” distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restrictive diets. Results may vary and cannot be guaranteed. Medical supervision and compliance with our program is required.

Falls Church, VA (PRWEB) February 03, 2012

In the light of Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction of 6 more weeks of winter, Any Brand Appliance Service, Inc. reminds homeowners to avoid using a gas range or stove as a heat source as it decreases air quality, poses a fire hazard, and may cause carbon monoxide poisoning.

According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, any fuel-burning unvented heat source, such as stove, increases exposure to combustion products in homes causing indoor air pollution with one of the major pollutants being colorless and odorless carbon monoxide.

As specialists in installation, service and repair of major household appliances, Any Brand Appliance Service, Inc. employees answer a lot of customer inquiries, including the questions about appliance safety.

“We perform many oven, range and stove installations and educate our customers about the importance of installing kitchen exhaust hoods vented to the outdoors to avoid concentration of harmful gases,” said Amjad Jamil, the owner of Any Brand Appliance Service, Inc..

Approximately 480 people die in U.S. every year due to unintentional carbon monoxide poisoning, according to the statistics from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Produced whenever fuel is burned, carbon monoxide can accumulate following prolonged use of the gas stove in poorly ventilated areas.

Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include headaches, nausea, fatigue, dizziness and are frequently confused with cold or flu symptoms. CDC emphasizes that these symptoms should not be left untreated, because they may cause loss of consciousness and death especially in sleeping or intoxicated people.

“Unattended operating gas stove is also a fire waiting to happen,” added Jamil. “We recommend professional HVAC installation by a certified and reputable company to ensure that all equipment is installed correctly and is safe to use.”

Jamil further explained that if a temporary gas pipe blockage or a certain circumstance (a sudden draft or a pet) causes the burner to extinguish, the concentration of gas in the air may increase to the point when it takes a phone call to ignite the explosion.

Both propane and natural gas have a strong odor unlike carbon monoxide, which makes the gas leak easier to detect. Suspected gas leaks have caused recent evacuations from Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, Md., and an apartment building in Rockville, Md.

Based in Falls Church, Va., Any Brand Appliance Service, Inc. has been providing appliance repair in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC for more than ten years and has worked on several cases involving a gas leak. The company pointed out that misuse and repurposing of appliances endangers not only the owners, but their neighbors and other tenants as well.
